Lower Antelope Canyon Page
Antelope Canyon is located near Page, Arizona.  It is a slot canyon which
was created by flood waters flowing at a rapid rate through the canyon.

This is Lower Antelope Canyon (west side of road).
Entering the canyon is like
going into a rabbit hole
Every bend in the canyon
presented a fantastic scene
Sometimes the canyon opened to
large caverns
The fast moving waters etched
out a mosaic of spectacular
scenery from the rocks
There are openings to the sky
at times
Our Arapaho guide played
the flute to create a
churchlike atmosphere
Overwelmed with the
surroundings, we pose
At times the canyon walls are
only 3 feet apart
Coming out of the canyon.
Stairway leaving the canyon
from a depth of at least 150
feet
Canyon looking east
from the highway
at the
Upper Antelope Canyon
One of the more spectacular
caverns
Light from above forms what
looks like a very evil face
Unbelievable what water can do
to sandstone!
It was over a mile to
the stairway exit.
